Eligibility
The contest is open to all residents of Canada, excluding Quebec, except directors, officers and employees of Tourism PEI, Fall Flavours and Prince Edward Island Potato Board, Meyer Canada any of the sponsoring companies or affiliated companies or their immediate families, cohabitants, agents or contractors.
The winner or traveling companion must be at least 19 years of age to meet the conditions of the car rental agency. The contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law. Any and all disputes will be resolved in accordance with the laws and in the courts of the Province of PEI. Should there be a conflict between the PEI laws and any other laws, the conflict shall be resolved in favour of the PEI laws. No purchase is necessary.

Entries
Entries can be submitted at www.peipotato.com/madetoenjoy. The odds of winning depend on the number of entries received by the contest deadline. Limit one entry per person per day via the promotional website. The prize winner will be selected via a random draw of entrant.
Prize
The prize package includes:
Five (5) night and six (6) day trip for two (2-) people to Prince Edward Island (when travel resumes) to the Fall Flavours Culinary Festival. Included in the grand prize is a round trip airfare (economy class) for two (2-) people to Prince Edward Island from a major airport within Canada, or bridge pass/gas card for entrants within 500km driving distance; accommodations for two (2-) people; three (3) Fall Flavours events TBD when festival resumes. Approximate value of prize is $2500 Cdn.
Any expenses occurred outside the parameters of the prize package are the responsibility of the prize recipients.
The prize package is to be accepted as is – no substitutions.
Publication
By entering the contest, entrants consent to the use, without payment or compensation, of their names, city of residence and image for publicity purposes in all media carried out by the PEI Potato Board and the Government of PEI, prize sponsors and their agents and contractors. Winners’ names and photographs may be published on www.gentleisland.com and may also be published in the 2021 or 2022 Island Guide.
Entrants also consent to the use, without payment or compensation, of their names and image within video recorded documentation of the culinary and unique Island Experiences associated with the grand prize to be utilized by the PEI Potato Board and the Government of PEI in promotional and advertising materials. The winner will be asked to sign a waiver and release.
Winners may be asked to participate in other Government of PEI marketing initiatives related to promoting PEI as a destination, and by entering the contest, agree that from entry to the Contest that entrants may be contacted for marketing purposes by sponsor or participating companies.
Deadline
All entries must be received online by 11:59pm Atlantic Standard Time March 31, 2021. Draw date will be April 15, 2021. Winner will be notified within 7 days. If the first winner is not eligible or fails to claim the prize within 7 days, a new winner will be chosen at random.
General
The sponsors and organizers (Tourism PEI, Fall Flavours, Prince Edward Island Potato Board, Meyer Canada) cannot be held responsible for entries that are lost, delayed, or misdirected. The sponsors and organizers are not responsible for any failure of the website during the contest. Nor are they responsible for any problems or technical malfunctions of computer online systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software or any e-mail, online or internet entry lost due to technical problems or traffic congestion on the internet or at any website or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to an entrant’s or any others person’s computer or property related to or resulting from playing or downloading any material in the promotion.
The sponsors and organizers reserve the right to cancel the contest or modify these rules at their discretion and they reserve the right to substitute any part of all of the Prize Package. Decisions of Tourism PEI, Fall Flavours, Meyer Canada and Prince Edward Island Potato Board will be final in all aspects of the contest, including matters of fact, interpretation, eligibility, procedure and fulfillment. The contest shall be subject to all federal, provincial and municipal laws.
Food Allergy Disclaimer
The PEI Potato Board and the Government of PEI and the providers of the culinary and unique Island Experiences will not assume any liability for adverse reactions to foods consumed, or items one may come in contact with during the culinary and cultural experiences contained within the Grand Prize. Winner(s) concerned with food allergies need to be aware of this risk.
Privacy
By entering this contest, each entrant consents to the PEI Potato Board and the Government of PEI and their agents, employees and contractors storing, sharing and using the personal information submitted with his or her entry only for the purposes of administering the contest and in accordance with the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act R.S.P.E.I. 1988, Cap. F-15.01. The PEI Potato Board and the Government of PEI and their agents, employees and contractors will not otherwise sell or disclose any entrant’s personal information. The PEI Potato Board and the Government of PEI has permission to use the information provided for the purpose of marketing.
